Life Bank
Life Bank is the final project of the Visual Design for apps course in Crehana. I took this course because I wanted to focus in a fintech app under the ethical bank perspective. Users are increasingly concerned about investing in ethical and sustainable projects, so I tried to create a product focused in this relation of investmen and benefits wihout forgetting the main operations of a bank app.
I started defining the general context that moves me to create the idea of Life Bank. In a world that is increasingly unequal in economic and social aspects, citizen awareness of creating a more favorable environment is spreading. It is the movement from people to people. So following these idea I stablisg the main values that Life Bank is based on:
- Investment in local, sustainable and research project.
- Inclusion of people at risk of exclusion
- Social Interaction and cooperation to create community

The main challenge for Life Bank is to connect citizen investors with ethical and sustainable projects to create a local, circular and green economy. The cycle works like this: a citizen invests his personal savings in an ethical project that has been previously studied by the Life Bank team to check its viability. When the project begins to operate, the investor will receive a benefit according with his investment.
To keep the focus in this process I worked in the defnition of the user persona, who will guide many design decisions to get the purpose of the app.
The next step was to create the user journey, define which is the path that the user follow before using the Life Bank app and after that. In this part is important to know the user persona and keep in mind the main values of Life Bank in order to build a logical and strenthg journey. This tool is useful because give to the product the opportunity to answers to the user emotions in each part of the process.
After defining the user journey I started to work in the design system with the basic elements in order to develop the first screens of the app.
Although this app was focused on investment from an ethical banking perspective, it was important also to build the main fintech app tasks. For that reason the first prototype was focused on the userflow of transfering money, one of the most frequent action that the users does in this kind of apps.
